Sustainable Eating

Sustainable Eating Working Group, also part of the Sustainability Purchasing Coalition, is interested in creating a space and forum for students who are interested in mitigating the negative environmental and social impacts of their everyday practice of eating. The group also intends to increase public awareness as well as University practice and policy on issues such as purchasing local products, packaging and waste management as it relates to food as well as touching upon social justice issues such as global warming, food security, and lack of access to adequate nutrition that plagues much of the world today.
